Advocate Malesela Teffo reveals in an interview with SABC that the withdrawal from Senzo Meyiwa’s trial was fake as he pulled the stunt to confuse his enemies.
Teffo who announced his withdrawal in July was the legal representative of four of the five men accused of killing Senzo; the men are Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Sifisokuhle Ntuli.
During an interview on SABC’s Its Tropical, Malesela revealed that the withdrawal was just to confuse the enemies; a video clip of the interview has gone viral on Twitter with people dropping their perception of his act.
“It is a strategy. Sometimes you have to confuse your enemies and give them a short-lived glory,” he said.
“So this is a strategy amongst us as I said,” he continued.
