Kid X recently celebrated one year of his third album, ‘Father of Zen’.

Taking to Twitter, the star shared a video of himself on the rooftop performing “The Cure,” a song from his album “Father Of Zen.”

This was done to commemorate the first anniversary of his third album, “Father Of Zen.”

“FATHER OF ZEN turns 1 YEAR today. Enjoy this performance of The Cure put together by the good people at Portraits Afrika.” Tweeted Kid X.

In the same tweet, Kid X revealed that he wanted to feature his favourite rapper on the song but there was a break in communication.

Leading up to the release of FOZ, I had this crazy idea of featuring my favorite rapper in the world on this song. So I shot my shot. I sent him the record, he loved it, and was ready to jump on it, but then our communication broke down. Can you imagine how Phonte woulda killed this?”
