Robert Marawa is reportedly at the edge of losing his Mercedes-Benz AMG which he purchased in November 2018.
It was reported that a certain financial advisor has taken Robert to the Pretoria High Court over an outstanding balloon payment towards his car.
Robert’s Mercedes might get repossessed following reports which suggest he missed a payment on December 2021.
“He paid R28 982 in monthly installments for 36 months and was left with a once-off balloon payment which was due on 1 December last year, ” reported the publication.
The publication even got a hold of court papers which read, “An order authorizing the plaintiff [Mercedes-Benz financial services] to apply to the court on the same papers, supplemented insofar as may be necessary for judgment in respect of any damages and further expenses incurred by the plaintiff in the repossession of the said vehicle, which amount can only be determined once the vehicle has been repossessed by plaintiff and has been sold.”
Marawa on the other hand allegedly defends himself by saying in response to the papers:
“The defendant denies that the above honorable court has jurisdiction to adjudicate this matter and puts the plaintiff to proof. The defendant denies material breach of the loan agreement and puts the plaintiff to proof thereof.”
