Somizi Mhlongo is overly excited and feeling untouchable after concluding Idols SA season 18 as a judge.
However, the star stood in for Anele Mdoda on 947 recently.
Somizi, who had to step down from his role before, jokingly said he was happy he couldn’t get fired after that gig.
In the video, it was seen that the media personality mistakenly thought the show was at the Montecasino studios but he needed to be at the Sandton studios to do the show with @FrankieFire & @CindyPoluta.
He then walked into the studio and said: “Thank God no-one can fire me. As I was driving I thought, I’m no longer there so no-one can fire me,” he said.
Anele reacted to his comment, dubbing Somizi “broadcasting cream”.
