Dry, clumpy and gooey this is what the reheated pasta looks like!

Let’s admit it that reheating literally ruins the taste and texture of a creamy and saucy pasta and there’s no denying that pasta tastes best when it is freshly cooked.

So, what’s the solution to reheat and regain the original texture of pasta without spoiling its taste? Well, we have some genius hacks to reheat pasta at home using some smart ways.

Read on…

1. Bake

This is perfect to reheat pasta recipes like Ravioli or Lasagna, which has a layer of cheese and turns crispy when cold, place the parchment paper on a baking tray and bake the pasta for 15 minutes. This will reheat the dish from inside out.

2. Boil

This hack works well if you keep the sauce and boiled pasta separately. Just add in cubes of butter or just add a little water to the pot so that the pasta doesn’t stick to the bottom. Pour the sauce and let it boil over low flame and add in the cold pasta, adjust the consistency of the sauce by adding milk, water or cream. Cook till it starts boiling and serve hot.

3. Reheat on a pan

This hack may take time, but it will make the pasta taste as good as freshly made. Grease the pan with butter or oil, add in the pasta and sprinkle some water or milk depending on the pasta recipe, slow cook the pasta till it turns creamy and smooth. Once it starts boiling, season it with salt pepper, if required and enjoy.

4. Microwave

Most people reheat pasta in the microwave as it saves time, but it also makes the pasta clumpy, unevenly heated and cold and gooey sometimes.

The best way to heat leftover pasta is by removing it from the cold container and pouring it into a large bowl and adding some hot water or milk, mixing it well. Let it rest for 5 minutes and then reheat it twice to get that perfect taste and consistency.
