The music business has become sore for some agents who survive on money from events.
Over the past two years, the no-show has become a trend and different media houses have their ears filled with complaints.
Some of these musicians have apologised to their fans for disappointing them, while a few explained reasons for not pitching for their booked gigs.
Below are 10 South African musicians who have been called out over a no-show:
1. YOUNG STUNNA
In September 2022, Sunday World reported that the Amapiano vocalist refused to show up to a gig after being paid R50 000.

Kabza alongside his music partner, Phori were ordered to be arrested by Zimbabwe high court due to their no-show at Zimbabwe’s Vic Falls Carnival in 2022.
The singer was slammed for not making it to the Victoria Falls Carnival in 2022, but she returned to social media to tender an apology.
6. ZODWA WABANTU
Zodwa Wabantu has been called out by a few event organizers. In 2022, she was reported to receive R22k but still didn't show. The entertainer apologised and claimed her ancestors held her back.
