Donald slams Universal Music Group SA
Donald who celebrated his birthday refused to embrace wishes from one of the biggest record labels in South Africa, Universal Music Group.
The musician marked a new age on Tuesday, and he was celebrated by friends and fans.
However, greetings from UMG almost tainted his day; the label also used the medium to promote his new EP, Tiki.
Reacting to the wishes, Donald wrote, “Take your love and keep it.”
This isn’t the first time a South African artist speaks out against the record label.
DJ Maphorisa also accused these big labels of affecting Amapiano’s movement in the country.
