Tony Forbes received a thoughtful gift from his late son, Kiernan AKA Forbes’s friend, Don Design.
Design and AKA were close friends and were together on the night the rapper got shot and killed in Durban.
The CCTV footage surfaced on social media and many pointed fingers at Don, as he was labeled a suspect due to his behaviour in the footage.
However, the Forbes family defended the DJ and tried to shut down the public.
In the interview, Tony revealed that Don Design gave him a bracelet that had the words: “Long Live Supa Mega, Live Long. Kiernan Jarryd Forbes.”
Tony appreciates the gift as it was consoling.
“I feel closer to him through them,” said Tony about AKA’s friends.
Meanwhile, Don Design recently marked his birthday which he labeled the worst birthday ever.
“Another year around the sun, this is the worst birthday ever. From death threats to my character being assassinated on every social media platform every day.
“I have to wake up in the morning to work and be able to provide for my family. None of this makes sense. I don’t need any of you fake people checking up on me. I’m with my family and getting help. None of y’all can fathom half the s**t I gotta go through,” he wrote on IG stories.
