Shimza whose real name is Ashley Raphala speaks about the need for event organisers to provide more to festivalgoers.
The DJ has been touring different international countries over the years, and his experience made him realised that festival goers in SA are not given the best treatment at gigs.
However, he suggests that the ticket price will get a bit costly in other to achieve such.
“The more you travel the more you understand that as event promoters in SA, we have to offer more to festival-goers than just the line up and we hope festival goers can understand the value they can get with a bit of a higher ticket price,” he wrote.
Shimza’s debate didn’t end well for him as some social media users claim he is fighting for his benefit and not the festival-goers.
He was slammed for advocating higher prices for tickets.
Ibisiza kahle le post until the ticket prices suggestion being higher, some of us can’t afford Kunye tickets n you believe international festivals would survive in S.A.
