Dineo Ranaka on going to a school of initiation for traditional healers

Dineo Ranaka clears the air on why she went to Ephehlweni – an initiation school for traditional healers.

Months ago, the radio personality revealed that she’s become a sangoma and she’s been practicing.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Dineo opened up about her battle with severe chronic depression; she further states that depression is not a mental condition but a neurological condition.

After lecturing her followers and explaining what triggered her depression, she stated why she went to an initiation school.

According to Dineo Ranaka she was there because she is called to be a traditional healer, and not to cure her medical condition.

“Please understand, I did not go ephehlweni to cure my medical conditions. I went because I am spiritually called and needed to learn how to have the discernment to channel my gift.”

“Many of us are called. We are all special and gifted. One must have a strong sense of self holistically when making the decision to go ephehlweni. It is not a hospital for your body. It is a school for your spirit. Know and understand the difference,” she wrote, and concluded with a note of gratitude to those who have called and texted to check up on her.

She also urged her fans to anticipate her next move.
