1. Put them in the freezer

The easiest and best way to store tomatoes for a long time is to keep them in the freezer. However, when you store tomatoes for a long time, the top part should be pruned off and thrown away. Apart from this, if you do not want to keep whole tomatoes in the fridge, then boil the tomatoes in water for ten minutes. When it cools down a bit, remove the peels of the tomatoes and now make a puree out of it. If you want, you can keep this puree in the freezer. It can stay fresh for almost a week.

2. Sun dry tomatoes

Perhaps, you will be surprised that tomatoes can be used for a long time even after drying them in the sun. According to experts, you can store and store tomatoes by dehydrating them. First, wash the tomatoes and cut them into two halves and sprinkle salt on top. Now, keep them in the sun for one to two weeks. But, keep the tomatoes inside the house during the night otherwise they might get damp. After they are completely dry, put them in a container. These sun-dried tomatoes stored in this way by adding them to salads, pasta etc.

3. Make tomato powder

You can also store tomatoes for a long time at home by making powder. To follow this process, it is necessary that you wash the tomatoes thoroughly, cut them into fine pieces and dry them in the sun. After a week or two, when the tomatoes are dry, bake them for some time. Bake till the tomatoes become hard. Make a powder by grinding the hard tomatoes. Now, put the powdered tomatoes in a glass jar. Take care that the jar should not get wet.
