DJ Maphorisa wants to prove his innocence
DJ Maphorisa whose real name is Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe, has reportedly rejected proposal to go for anger management classes.
Controversila YouTuber, Musa Khawula revealed that the National Prosecuting Authority proposed that the DJ should go for the classes in other to withdraw the assault case laid against him by his estranged lover, Thulisile Phongolo.
In June, it was reported that the Amapiano musician spent a day in jail for assaulting his then-girlfriend, Thuli P.
He was granted bail and the case was reportedly withdrawn by the actress.
However, it was later disclosed that the case was ongoing in court, though postponed a couple of time.
The latest update is that Maphorisa refuse to accept the NPA’s proposal.
“DJ Maphorisa insists that the NPA proceeds with trial and prosecution so he can prove his innocence to the public,” Musa wrote.
Meanwhile, Phori was hailed a few weeks ago after it was reported that he collected all the luxurious cars he bought for Thuli while they were dating.
