Holly Rey has been crowned the winner of The Masked Singer South Africa.
The Award-winning singer returned home with the coveted Golden Mask trophy.
“I had the time of my life doing this,” she wrote in the caption to a photo of her standing alongside her Lollipop costume. “It was like being a kid the whole time.”
In the finale, Lollipop crushed the statuesque romantic hero, Rhino. Battling to take the trophy home, the two performed a duet of Justin Bieber’s Baby.
Somizi eulogised Rey before being unmasked.
“Lollipop was born to be a history maker. Lollipop was born to be a record-holder,” he said. “She became the first woman to win Song of the Year after the legendary Brenda Fassie 20 years ago. Lollipop is Holly Rey.”
