Fan hits Rachel Kolisi with a rugby ball
Rachel Kolisi got hit with a rugby ball during the Springboks’ trophy tour in Cape Town.
The Springboks who won the Rugby World Cup 2023 for the fourth time were given a hero welcome to South Africa on Tuesday.
The team has also begun a tour across the country to celebrate the historic win.
Family members were allowed to tour with the players while other citizens waved to them and congratulated them for the victory.
Rachel who exuded support to her husband, Siya Kolisi who is the captain of the team had an ill experience while enjoying the tour.
A fan threw a ruby ball at her, and it hit her head as seen in the video.
However, its been reported that Rachel is fine and the ball hit wasn’t intentional.
“The Springbok victory parade was wild! Rachel was ok everyone,” reads the caption of the video.
Siya wrote, “I should’ve caught ! Perfect throw! But @rachelkolisi should always be expecting the ball 😂 that’s why my school coach always told me.”
Speaking of her experience, Rachel said, “You know when you trip in fall in public and you really hope no one saw it 🫠😂 it was a great throw.”
