“Not anytime soon,” Itu Khune on retiring

Itu Khune says he is not retiring soon

Itumeleng Khune has no plans of retiring soon.

Itu is a South African professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League, and also the South African national team.

Khune shot to fame when he saved three penalties from Esrom Nyandoro and Peter Ndlovu against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Knockout final on 1 December 2007.

The star remains focused despite noise from critics and trolls on social media.

Taking to social media, he shared photos of himself on a football pitch and captioned with, “I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL.”

A follower presumed the soccer player was hinting at the end of his career by asking, “Have you retired??”

Itu Khune answered the follower with, “not anytime soon.”
