South Africa is qualified for the semi-finals in the African Cup of Nations.

The Bafana Bafana soccer team played well, but the hero of the night was the goalkeeper Ronwen Williams, as he made four saves during the penalty shootout.

South Africa won this tournament in 1996 but has not made it to the semi-finals since 2000.

Bafana Bafana lost their opening match to Mali but turned things around with a big win over Namibia, as they finished second in Group E. That set up a last-16 clash against Morocco, with South Africa winning that match 2-0 to pull off a major upset.

The streets of Mzansi are filled with jubilation as they make it to the semifinals!
