One of the greatest things about pancakes is that they are extremely versatile and come in hundreds of varieties.

They are made using fresh fruits, cornmeal, buckwheat, chocolate powder, bananas and eggs.

These 3-ingredient pancakes recipes are quick and easy-to-make for your family without spending a lot of time in the kitchen!

1. Oats, eggs and banana

Ingredients

2 eggs, 1 ripe banana and 2-4 tablespoons of oats

Method

Step 1: In a blender, combine the peeled banana, eggs and oats. Allow to blend until the mixture has a smooth consistency. Allow the batter to stand for 10-20 minutes.

Step 2: Heat a non-stick skilled over medium heat. Pour the mixture into the skillet and cook until the batter starts to bubble. Flip and cook until golden brown on both sides. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup and fresh fruit of your choice.

2. Chocolate, eggs and banana pancake

Ingredients

2 large eggs,1 banana and 2 tbsps sweet chocolate powder

Method

Step 1: Place the bananas into a blender and blend until smooth, with no lumps remaining.

Step 2: In a bowl, crack the eggs, add the mashed banana and the chocolate powder. Using a whisker, blend all the ingredients together until you get a smooth consistency.

Step 3: Heat up a non-stick pan over medium heat. Spoon the batter onto the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until browned. Flip the pancake over and cook for another minute. Repeat this step with the remaining batter. Serve pancakes hot!

3. Oats, milk and apple pancake

Ingredients

1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 medium apple and 3 tbsps milk

Method

Step 1: Combine oats, peeled and chopped apple and milk in a blender and blend until it reaches the desired consistency. Pour batter into a medium bowl for scooping.

Step 2: Scoop batter onto hot skillet and cook until batter starts to bubble. Flip and cook for 2-3 minutes on both the sides. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

4. Flour, eggs and milk pancake

Ingredients

100 grams plain flour, 2 eggs and 300 ml semi-skimmed milk

Method

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the flour, eggs and milk and whisk to combine. Whisk it until smooth and there are no lumps.

Step 2: Heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle into small rounds and flip after about 20 to 30 seconds. Serve hot with maple syrup on top. Enjoy!

5. Brown sugar, flour and banana pancake

Ingredients

1/2 cup light brown sugar, 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1 ripe banana

Method

Step 1: In a medium bowl, whisk together brown-sugar and flour.

Step 2: In another small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth. Now, pour the banana mixture into the flour mixture. Fold the batter gently with a spatula until just blended. The batter will be thick and lumpy.

Step 3: Heat a non-stick pan over medium high heat. Pour or spoon the batter onto the griddle forming 4 inch circles. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on top. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.

6. Honey, eggs and flour pancake

Ingredients

1 cup whole-wheat flour, 3 large eggs and 1 tbsp honey

Method

Step 1: In a large bowl, sift together the whole-wheat flour, honey and eggs mix well until smooth.

Step 2: Pour batter onto skillet, using one-third of batter for every pancake. Cook on a hot greased griddle for 1-2 minutes on each side or until they are lightly browned. Serve warm, with desired toppings.

7. Biscuit crumble, condensed milk and egg pancake

Ingredients

1 cup biscuit crumble, 1 cup milk and 2 large eggs

Method

Step 1: In a bowl, whisk the beaten eggs and milk. In a separate bowl, add biscuits crumble.

Step 2: Add wet ingredients to the dry one and combine well. Batter should still be slightly lumpy and allow the batter to stand for at least 30 minutes.

Step 3: Heat a griddle or non stick skillet over medium heat. Pour about 1/4 of a cup of batter onto the griddle in a circular pattern. Cook pancakes until done and slightly browned on each side. Stack the pancakes and drizzle some maple syrup.
