Papa Penny is now a member of the former President Jacob Zuma’s uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, after exiting African National Congress (ANC) party.
Penny submitted his resignation as both a councillor and member of the ANC.
The reality TV star said he has gained enemies in the governing party following a failed bid to become the leader of the ANC in Limpop.
“There is no wife or husband who can divorce without any problems, but I cannot spoil the ANC. I have to talk about my new home, that the problems between me and the people of the ANC,” he said.
The musician confirmed to Eyewitness that he’s a new member of MK party, and will be headlining the party’s manifesto launch on Saturday at Orlando Stadium.
Papa Penny said he is focused to his service to his new political party, MK.
