Who doesn’t like crunchy toast for breakfast?
Unfortunately, cleaning the toaster is not one of anyone’s favourite activities, especially considering its specific structure, which makes access to some of its elements difficult.
Most toasters are equipped with special drawers that collect some crumbs. It is worth remembering to empty them regularly – preferably after each use of the device.
How often you clean the inside of your toaster should depend on how often you use it. If the toaster is used rarely, it is recommended not to leave it dirty for more than a week.
How to quickly and effectively clean the inside of your toaster?
When cleaning a toaster, you should always start by unplugging the device and waiting until it cools down completely. Then empty and wash the crumb tray and shake the appliance gently to remove any remaining crumbs.
The grids inside the device can be cleaned with a dry toothbrush.
If the toaster is very dirty, you can prepare a solution of water and vinegar, dip a toothbrush or a small brush in it and thoroughly wash the inside of the device.
After wet cleaning the inside of the toaster, it is important to let it dry for at least 24 hours before using it again. The outside of the toaster can be washed with a cloth dipped in water and dishwashing liquid.
Remember that when wet cleaning the toaster, it is important to prevent water from getting inside the device!
