Reducing the appearance of tan and sun spots over time leaves your skin refreshed and clear.
It does not just add freshness and a cooling goodie, but is also delicious for your stomach which again has its connection with the skin.
The natural properties of cucumber have the potential to revive the dull complexion struggling from suntans and look the best naturally with minimal effort. Filled with minerals, vitamins, and amino acids, it helps you glow inside out. But it also can be used as a sunscreen. How? Let’s see in this short guide.
1. Use it as a toner
If you have dull and oily skin, then use some freshly bought cucumber and after washing it properly, slice the cucumber into small pieces and heat it in a bowl for 5-7 minutes. Blend the boiled cucumber in a food processor or blender, and filter out the liquid with a clean muslin cloth, removing the excess pulp. Then put the liquid in a clean container store it in a spray bottle and use it as a toner on your face and hands.

2. Cucumber and aloe vera

After a hectic day at work, use the combination of cucumber and aloe vera which would make you feel refreshed with a bright and supple skin glow. Take a cucumber puree in a bowl and mix 2 spoons of aloe vera gel into the puree. Now, massage your face with this mixture for a few minutes let it stay for 10-15 minutes, and then wash your tan off.
3. Cucumber, honey, and oatmeal mask
Blend an unpeeled cucumber and remove the solid bits with a strainer. Now, mix the puree with oatmeal and one tablespoon of honey. Apply it on your face for 15 minutes and then wash it off with a good face wash and use a light moisturiser afterwards.

4. The basic cucumber mask

If you want to cut to the chase then simply wash an unpeeled cucumber and blend it. Remove the solid bits and strain the juice. Now wash your face with a good cleaner and pat it dry. Apply the thick paste neck and let it stay for 10 minutes, and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Apply a toner or moisturiser accordingly.
