Cassper Nyovest shares a personal experience with his followers over the weekend.
The South African rapper has been loud about his faith, ever since he gave his life to God; he’s been grateful for being saved as his depression and other issues he was struggling with has stopped.
Taking to his Instagram account, Nyovest shared a video of himself in a swimming pool, probably meditating and captioned it with touching words.
Cassper said he’s cried more since he started this new spiritual journey.
“Ever since I was touched by the Holy Spirit, I cry so often, I feel so deeply. You know I lived 33 years as what I considered as a “happy person” cause I had never been depressed or overly sad. Looking back, it’s almost as if I was filtered and Jaded. Like I only knew how to do one thing and that was to look past things, sort of avoiding them,” he wrote.
“I never confronted any intrusive thoughts or worries but always found something lighter to talk about or think about. Now I can sit and feel things I never felt before and be present. Present in my pain, in my sorrow, in my fears, and in my worries, in my flaws and in my mistakes, in my insecurities and my weaknesses daily.”
Mufasa shared some bible verses and further appreciated God.
“It’s not easy but it’s soo comforting to know the name Jesus and the finished work on the cross. There is soo much power in the name of Jesus. When I think of what you saved me from Lord, I often cry and just wonder at your love,” he wrote.
