Travelling by plane is not only about the excitement of discovering new places, but also the need to go through security checks and passport control when crossing the country’s border.

Instagrammer Boborica, who comes from Belarus but has been living in Poland for 15 years, published a short video in which she shows what it is better not to do before and during passport control.

The point is to answer questions quickly and efficiently, not to make jokes like “I have a knife or a bomb in my backpack“. It is worth complying with even the strangest requests to remove glasses and a hat or show a return ticket.

In Israel, they asked me about my great-grandfather’s name, and I don’t really know. Or how long I’ve been with my girlfriend. They also said that it’s not a tourist country and why I came here” writes one of the commenters.

In Ghana, a female guard asked me if I had a present for her. I still don’t know if it was a sense of humour or just my first encounter with corruption.” writes one of the Internet users.

The security check, which all passengers and their luggage are subjected to, is intended to ensure an appropriate level of protection and safety in air transport. The passenger is allowed to undergo security checks after presenting a boarding pass and an identity document: an identity card or passport.
