1. Potato chips

2. Cereals

3. Deep- fried food

Fried foods like chicken wings, French fries, samosas, and tempura, are linked to cause inflammation, which can damage the blood vessels that supply the brain with blood.

4. Sugary drinks

As per experts and studies, sugary drinks contain a type of sugar called fructose, which might cause certain parts of your brain to become smaller and in the long run, such drinks impact the overall functioning of the brain.

5. Alcohol

As per studies, excessive intake of alcohol might result in reduction of brain volume, metabolic changes and disruption of neurotransmitters, which are chemicals the brain uses to communicate. Also, it might lead to vitamin B1 deficiency and lead to a brain disorder called Wernicke’s encephalopathy.

6. Cake

7. Peanut butter

As per experts, the packaged peanut butter uses low-grade ingredients and is highly inflammatory, and is linked with the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

It is an artificial sweetener that is used in many snack items. It is linked with anxiety and can cause oxidation, which increases harmful free radicals in the brain.
