Nozipho Ntshangase’s marriage went from amazing to bitterness, which further crumbled due to her husband’s decision to get a second wife.
The reality TV star opened up on how her 17-year marriage ended during an interview on the Love and Marriage Family Podcast with Mo and Phindi.
Nozipho planned alongside her man to study medicine in Zambia after years of being a stay-at-home mom.
“We had a plan that we would make the medicine work, I’ve supported his career all along. We built his business I used to run around to submit tender documents with my kids in the back seat.”
The husband talked about having a second wife, and he didn’t need her permission to go ahead with his desire.
“As I’m watching my relationship and my marriage, what I knew just deteriorated because it’s hard to give yourself to something that you can see that this is not my plan and I’m definitely not planning to stay in it.”
Nozi thought it was phase and he will get over it, but things went from good to bad, as he stopped picking her calls, stopped going shopping with her and the home began to exude toxicity which the children perceived.
“It’s been hard…. literally waking up in the middle of the night and I’ll call a friend of mine and I’m like, Thandi how the f%ck did we get here,” detailed the mom.
