Emojis are a great way to express your emotions in written communication as plain words often do not convey the sentiment of the whole thought.

Adding an emoji to a text can make all the difference, and add a personal touch as well as an element of humour to the message.

Emojis are small digital icons used to express feelings. It makes expressing yourself a tad easier than framing long sentences.

Whether you are furious, disappointed, overwhelmed, happy, excited, exhausted, there is an emoji for every life experience you are going through.

The exact number of emojis we have on our phones is 3,782. Your world of emojis is set to expand as a new update is likely to launch 8 more emojis.

Benefits of using emojis while texting

It mimics the effect of a real human face: If you can’t see them in real, sending them emojis is the next best alternative. Research says when we look at a smiley face, the specific parts of the brain that are activated upon seeing a real human face are activated.

It’s a new and effective language: Words can’t express what emoticons can at times and researchers say they are fast emerging as a new form of language and our brain has developed a new pattern to understand it.

The use of emojis can help the receiver take notice of your text as according to psychology people tend to make sense of faces more than the words.
