Longwe Twala gains his freedom as he’s been released from jail.
The son of the music legend Chicco Twala was released on a warning after briefly appearing in the Randburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 25 September, for his bail application.
He will appear in court again on 25 October for further investigations.
Longwe will be arrested again if he commits some crime.
“Mr Twala, you are released on warning, and you will return to court in October. You must be here on time, and you can now go home,” Magistrate Abdul Khan said.
The 39-year-old was arrested for stealing equipment worth thousands of rands from his father’s house.
The crime was committed alongside his brother, Sello, who is 34 years old.
However, Sello was excused from the case as there was no evidence to proof, he committed the crime.
