Actor Sello goes legal against his estranged wife
Veteran actor Sello Maake kaNcube has had enough of the drama with his wife, Pearl Mbewe, and is taking legal steps in response to recent allegations.
Maake kaNcube, who has had an on-and-off relationship with Mbewe in recent months, firmly denies accusations of assault.
Mbewe, a public relations expert, reportedly filed charges against her husband, claiming he assaulted her and gave her a chronic disease.
The actor addressed the claims, stating he nearly spent a weekend in jail after a police report was filed. However, when he went to the station for questioning, he filed a countercharge against Mbewe.
“I firmly deny the allegations. It seems like a coordinated attempt to make unfounded claims against me,” Maake kaNcube told ZiMoja.
“I won’t engage in mud-slinging. I’m consulting with my legal team.”
