Kelly Khumalo applauds her daughter for preserving her dad Senzo Meyiwa’s legacy
Kelly Khumalo is beaming with pride as she watches her daughter, Thingo, showcase her football skills.
The singer and reality TV star recently shared a heartwarming video of her 11-year-old daughter playing as a goalkeeper during a football match with her team.
The post, accompanied by a powerful caption, left fans applauding her dedication as a mother.
In the video, Thingo confidently defends her team’s goal, displaying agility and determination. Alongside the clip, Kelly wrote:
“That slide tackle cut through my heart, suddenly my losses became the VICTORY I have never imagined, LIKE IT OR NOT, THE LEGACY CONTINUES❗️👍🏽 thank you coach Tumi, Moira, and the rest of the team for taking care of my Buzz Bee.”
Thingo, born from Kelly’s relationship with the late Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, has seemingly inherited her father’s passion for the sport. Senzo was tragically killed in October 2014, and since then, Kelly has raised Thingo as a single mother, often facing harsh criticism and cyberbullying.
Despite the challenges, Kelly has remained steadfast in nurturing her daughter’s talents and well-being.
Fans flooded her comment section with words of encouragement, commending her for raising Thingo with strength and resilience.
