Ghanaian prophet claims global flood will begin on December 25

Ghanian prophet prepares for the great flood

Followers of a self-styled Ghanaian prophet known as Ebo Noah are bracing themselves for what he claims will be a world-ending flood similar to the biblical story of Noah.

The controversial content creator has drawn widespread attention online after announcing that a divine instruction has compelled him to prepare for a great deluge he says will begin on December 25, 2025.

In several videos shared on social media, Ebo Noah is seen engaging in fasting and prayer, urging what he describes as a “lost generation” to repent.

Often dressed in sackcloth, he claims God commissioned him to build an ark, just as Noah was instructed in the Book of Genesis.

According to GhanaWeb, the prophet has already constructed about 10 wooden vessels, which he says are designed to withstand three years of continuous flooding, and has begun gathering livestock as part of the preparations.

The claims have sparked intense debate, with supporters expressing belief and critics questioning the credibility of the prophecy.

While apocalyptic predictions are nothing new, such declarations have historically drawn massive followings, particularly when past predictions appear to align with real-world events, often elevating self-proclaimed prophets to sudden fame.

However, some Christian commentators have pushed back, noting that biblical scripture contradicts the idea of another flood destroying the earth.

In Genesis 9:11, God is quoted as saying: “Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

The covenant, marked by the appearance of a rainbow, is widely interpreted as a divine promise that a global flood would not be repeated.

As December 25 approaches, Ebo Noah’s prophecy continues to dominate conversations online, with many watching closely to see whether the dramatic prediction will fade into history like many before it, or further deepen the divide between belief and skepticism.
