Nomzamo Mbatha finds herself in hot water after sending Thuso Mbedu a congratulatory message on Twitter.
Thuso just bagged a big international role in Amazon’s new series, The Underground Railroad and it’s attracted lot of best wishes from fans and celebs.
However, the activist mentioned in the congratultory message that she also auditioned for the same role.
“When I auditioned and found out I was pinned for this role I couldn’t stop jumping with excitement. Now finding out that a deserving homegirl got it makes the loss so sweet! Congratulations, Thuso. I know you will do Cora so much justice. Barry Jenkins this is amazing!” she wrote.
Nom’s tweet appeared to be full of jealousy to most tweeps and she was dragged for that. Though, she’s deleted the tweet.
