Kenny Makweng is dead
Kenny Makweng passes away on Monday, 15 January, two weeks after being hospitalsed.
The musician reportedly died after suffering a stroke as a result of brain complications.
Kenny’s management, KennyMak Productions confirmed his death in a statement released today.
“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved gospel icon Kenny Makweng, who passed on after a short illness,” the statement said.
“The family humbly requests the public and media to respect their privacy to deal with this difficult situation. We request that you keep his family, associates, and friends in our prayers,” they said.
Details about his memorial service and funeral will communicated in due course.
Kenny Makweng is known for songs like Lengeloi Laka, Ingwe ya mabalabala and Ke Mosione.
