Cassper Nyovest is back with a fresh tune for the upcoming festive season, Ntho Tse Monate.
Despite facing criticism and being labeled a “fallen artist” by some, the South African rapper remains optimistic about his career and the impact of his new music.
Taking to social media, Cassper shared a track snippet alongside a dance challenge, which he hopes will dominate the streets in 2025.
In his post, he shared a positive outlook, captioning the video with, “Walking away from this year’s problems as we approach the new year. Only expecting NTHO TSE MONATE IN 2025.”
However, the launch of the challenge drew mixed reactions online.
While some fans were excited, others criticized both the song and the challenge. Here’s a look at some of the responses:
- “Dear Kiernan, Look at this nonsense we are subjected to.”
- “This one maybe just wanted to show us his house… I don’t even know what they’re doing.”
- “I like Cassper, but enough is enough! He’s been feeding us trash since 2020. Maybe he should take a break and come back as Refiloe to find inspiration again.”
- “What a boring challenge.”
- “When will they learn that you don’t ‘introduce’ a challenge? If it’s good, it will catch on naturally. Shimza ‘introduced’ one a while back, and only he and Athi are doing it.”
