Prince Kaybee reflects on near-fatal crash as he returns to the track two years later
South African DJ and producer Prince Kaybee has reflected on a near-fatal moment in his life as he marked a powerful comeback to the racing track.
Taking to X, the award-winning musician shared a pair of photos documenting his journey from a devastating crash to recovery.
Prince Kaybee revealed that two years ago, he was involved in a serious accident while chasing the fastest time on the track.
According to the star, he had been the fastest rider that day but allowed confidence to push him beyond his limits, which resulted in a crash that left him with a broken ankle and wrist and nearly cost him his life.
“Two years ago I almost lost my life… I got cocky, went over the limit and crashed,” he wrote.
The post, however, carried a message of resilience and triumph.
Prince Kaybee confirmed that he has since returned to the track, sharing a recent photo taken last week to symbolise his recovery and determination to rise again after the setback.
