Mzansi’s reaction to the death of George Floyd

Mzansi are left heartbroken just like the Black Americans, over the death of George Floyd in the hands of 4 Minneapolis police officers.

The news of the 46-year-old shook the net and the blacks across the globe ain’t taking any chill pill as they want justice.

“My heart is so heavy, I felt each and every word watching that video right before you took your last breath. Rest in Power Black Brother,” Prince Kaybee said.

AND WHAT OF JUSTICE? The winter solstice came early this year. The nights are longer and justice is short-sighted here too. In the dark we pray for you and light candles. Hoping we are not mad to believe in Justice. On what plane? Perhaps our children may see a Black Equinox, where the sun crosses the celestial equator for a moment of equality. Day and night.
