SA legend, Mary Twala was finally laid to rest in the early hours of Thursday, and people across the world could watch the service as it was streamed Live on social media platforms.
However, one of the touching incident at the funeral service was Somizi’s tribute to his mother.
He had confessed earlier that he is shattered, but during his tribute, he claimed his mom is now an ancestor.
“I know I’ve lost a mother on earth, but I’ve gained the most powerful ancestor. Don’t be surprised, anyone should not be surprised if I rise beyond, because I’ve got the most generous ancestor. And mama I know how when you’re angry, how you become, so, I would never to make you an angry ancestor… Thank you for everything I love you,” the radio personality said.
Somizi further revealed that his mom never wanted for once to be called a celebrity.
