A policeman who was off-duty was knocked down by a car and one person was shot.
A suspect reportedly approached the vehicle and opened fire, which prompted the driver to speed off and hit the policeman.
This suspected drug-related incident happened in Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal on Monday morning.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa), three suspects have been arrested and one firearm has been confiscated.
