Musical artist, Dladla Mshunqisi has surprised many of his fans with his action during the protest yesterday.
It was reported that Durban artists blocked off the N3 Highway near the Spaghetti Junction in Durban, demanding that lockdown regulations around concerts be amended.
However, they want the restrictions to be eased because the pandemic hit them hard and has hindered their means of livelihood.
Some stated that they have not been getting any income due to the fact that there are not gigs .
Some even went ahead to say that it has been really hard for them as they suggested that events should be allowed with only 70% in attendance.
Reacting to this, Dladla was also in the protest but ran away from the police after they were dispersing the crowd with with stun grenades and rubber bullets.
He ran away swiftly from the police to avoid being arrested too and his speed left many in stitches.
Some even say he is ready for the Comrades Marathon while some are saying Usain Bolt and Caster Semenya are facing some tough competition from him.
Shimza tweeted and said: “Yes it’s entertainment for you but to artists it’s their livelihood. #VulaPresident”
