The Wildfire which started on Saturday morning destroyed 7,000 acres (2,800 hectares) and displaced so many residents after the fire caught up with their homes.

According to California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) on Sunday via twitter, it disclosed that the wildfire in southern California was triggered by a firework at a gender reveal party.

“CAL FIRE Law Enforcement has determined the El Dorado Fire, burning near Oak Glen in San Bernardino County, was caused by a smoke generating pyrotechnic device, used during a gender reveal party,” Cal Fire said on Twitter.

Gender reveal part is heldy to disclose the gender of the unborn child.

The people of California sometimes announce it with pink or blue smoke fireworks.

It revealed that more than 500 firefighters and four helicopters battled with the El Dorado blaze east of San Bernardino.

The rescue body ordered residents of several communities within the area to evacuate and move to safety.

It also confirmed that those involved in triggering the fire will face the law.

“Those responsible for starting fires due to negligence or illegal activity can be held financially and criminally responsible”.

The wildfire was said to be aided by the hot temperature in California.

This caused the state to witness three of the biggest blazes in the state’s history this year.
