As the theft allegation against Somizi’s show keeps expanding, many truth are being revealed as the show continues to be aired.
Somizi Mhlongo continues to be in hot soup following the allegation he stole the concept of his show, “Dinner At Somizi’s”.
The star was accused by Hastings Moeng claiming he stole the content he uses on his show.
However, Somizi claimed he knew nothing about it and that yes, Hastings approached him on the show verbally and that the email he claimed he sent was never opened.
On social media, they have only shared a segment of the interview.
In the viral clip, Somizi denies having any knowledge of ever receiving the email.
According to Somizi, he said the email he sent the letter to was actually his former email and most times, he does not open his mail himself as it is always done by either his PA, road manager, manager and his agency open them.
He said that he has logged on to his email was a few months back.
Somizi starts off by stating: “I only spoke to him once. I think it was in 2013, not 2014. He told me he wants us to do a cooking show (called) “Dinner with Somizi,” or something like that. But I have never seen any documents.”
This caught the attention of many of his fans thinking if he is truly speaking the truth.
Some said it is not possible for him not to have opened his mail as a media personality.
Also, the video caused confusion amongst his fans.
First, he says he has never had a conversation with the producer, but reading the quote above he clearly got his facts confused.
Additionally, although Somizi admits that the producer shared the name of the show, which Somizi tweaked.
