As court hears the case of the two men arrested in connection to the murder of 21-year-old farm manager Brendin Horner the media can only broadcast closing arguments by the legal teams and the judgment.
TV cameras and photographers will be allowed in the courtroom during the adjournment.
This comes after the prosecution requested that the case be heard in camera, despite the fact that Sekwetje Isaiah Mahlamba and Sekola Piet Matlaletsa signalling lawyers said they have no issue with the media covering the court proceedings.
Several media agencies filed an application at the Senekal magistrate’s court to be permitted into court to record proceedings.
While addressing the court, the state prosecutor, who did not reveal his name or face said the case was sensitive at the moment.
He said the murder investigation was complex.
He told the court that he wants the identities of some witnesses to be protected.
He said some certain information must not be made public but the defence argued that the the complex matter must be made in an open court.
Police minister Bheki Cele is also present in the court.
