Hit producer Tweezy launches record label

on

Having been in the music game for nearly half a decade, music producer Tweezy has joined the long list of producers-hip-hop acts that have launched a label. Tweezy announced he will be starting the imprint named Hits Since 14 on his official Twitter page on Thursday. Tweezy started rapping recently.

Making the announcement he wrote on social media,

If it wasn’t for Matthew 6:33 Jeremiah 29:11 and Isaiah 60:22, I would’ve dropped the ball each time I thought of giving up. Independence as an artist is great responsibility. If you aren’t willing to sacrifice as much as your own life to make your dreams pop, you aren’t going to get far.

I’ve hustled and made money enough to earn me a very comfortable life as a producer…I’ve been using all that money on my career for 3 years straight now. It is only this year that I can see the benefits that make me appreciate the investments I’ve made from when I started out. I’m talking “Lemme buy my mama a new crib” kind of money. I’ve paid tens of thousands monthly to collaborate with industry associates to build a strong brand for my career. Some failed to commit to our partnership, most helped me get to where I needed it to be.

I’ve struggled to survive for many days as I was pushing to establish myself. Used rent money for PR, used grocery money for photoshoots, etc. It brings me great joy to finally achieve my goals of establishing my career as an artist through sacrifice faith and prayer. I’ve plugged and sampled 5 of my singles, radio and tv. Independently. One of these singles is a Gold selling certified one that costed my life and well being to establish. I can’t be proud of myself enough.

Since starting off, Tweezy has been the most accomplished hip hop producer in the country having worked with AKA, Nasty C, K.O among other top of the chain acts.
