SA celebs who have disappeared on social media

on

Social media is one of the platforms where talents get to show off, while celebrities use it as a medium to promote their career and bond with fans.

However, it’s disturbing to see some celebs who have worked really hard to reach success suddenly becoming a ghost on socials.

We are going to be looking at celebrities who have disappeared from social media.

Some reasons are obvious while some just went off the radar without prior notice.

SHO MADJOZI

The singer bubbled in her early years in the industry as a fast-rising star, but she’s suddenly ghosted on social media, and even career-wise; people are gradually getting worried as there’s no explicit reason for her disappearance. The last post on her Instagram page is dated back to December 2021. We hope she’s fine.

ZAHARA

The singer’s last post on Instagram was in October 2021, despite being less active on social media, she’s been making headlines over hideous issues. It’s assumed that Zahara has some personal issues to sort out, hence the disappearance.

TWEEZY

The hip hop music producer has been off the radar since October 2021, without an explanation.

SOPHIE NDABA

The actress’ last post was in November 2021, and she didn’t announce leaving Instagram, though she made headlines last year over divorcing her husband, Max Lichaba due to infidelity; she also speaks of her battle with ailment. Not hearing a word from the businesswoman is quite troubling?

BUCIE

Bucie Nkomo hasn’t only stopped posting on Instagram, but she’s taken down all posts, leaving her IG page with nothing, blank. The reason for her inactiveness is unknown.

KHAYA MTHETHWA

The radio and TV presenter also disappeared on Instagram since December 2021, we hope he’s also okay, and the ministry is moving?

Mlindo The Vocalist and Jub Jub ought to be on this list, but we will place them on the fence, as the two have reasons why they are less active on Instagram.

Mlindo recently saved a video of himself on Instagram, previewing an unreleased song during a Live chat, but he’s yet to give an official post since December 2021. Though, DJ Maphorisa’s revelation about Mlindo’s music career gave hints at the trouble he might be encountering, hence staying off social media is justifiable.

Meanwhile, Jub Jub stayed off social media after his interview with Mac G, which involved the mentions of his ex-girlfriends, Kelly Khumalo and Amanda du-Pont. The interview landed him in trouble, as exes accused him of raping them.

The only thing Jub has tried posting on Instagram is a letter of apology to Kelly.

Prince Kaybee also announced that he will be disappearing from Twitter weeks ago, though he didn’t tell the reason behind his action.
