Designer Karl Lagerfeld’s death at 85 is heart breaking for so many, including South African’s celebrity.
Karl influenced lot of lives been a German haute-couture designer, artistic director at Chanel and an icon of the global fashion industry for over half a century.
SA celebs like Gemini Major and Nandi Madida took to social media paying tributes to the late icon.
Nandi said; “Had the honour of being invited to the Chanel Showroom in Paris – Rue Cambon and cannot begin to tell you how inspired I was. @karllagerfeld you inspired many.”
Karl Lagerfeld was a genius of the fashion world. For sure it will always be remembered by us lovers of this world of art and expression. Thanks for all the knowledge left Mr.Lagerfeld!
