Celebrity couple, Connie and Shona Ferguson remember late Dad in the midst of celebrating Shona’s birthday.

In a lengthy note, Shona shared on Instagram saying he misses his Dad and spoke about the impact (Dad)he’s made in his life.

“It’s my birthday today and it finally hit me that i will never hear you say “ Happy birthday Sho” again. I miss you so much dad. You called me “Dup” (Duplicate) growing up coz I looked so much like you. You taught me how to me a man. How to be there for my family. How to protect them & provide for them. You taught me to put GOD first, that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and SAVIOR. When my wife & I renewed our vows you officiated the ceremony. I will forever cherish that moment. I have never met anyone in my entire life that has faced the battles you had. Physically and otherwise. You always came out on top because you had no fear.”

“A lot of people don’t know that the character of Jerry Maake is inspired by you. I honestly don’t know how I am going to continue playing him. I am so heartbroken dad. I wish I could hear your voice one more time. I wish I could hear you tell me that it’s all going to be OK. I cried so much writing this. I kept seeing your face. I know you are in a better place papa. I will not let you down. I will carry your name with pride. I will never forget the very last words you said to me. I made you a promise and I will keep it. I LOVE YOU DAD. Rest In peace, Pastor Peter Harry Ferguson.”

Connie also took Shona’s Dad a priority on her husband’s birthday, as she paid tribute to him also on Instagram.
