South Africa records highest Covid-19 cases in Africa

South Africa recorded it’s first case in March 5, 2020, and as at today tops the highest Covid-19 cases in Africa.

The data released by WHO, regional office for Africa on Wednesday, 24th of June, shows the continent as recorded 321,855 cases and 8481 deaths.


As at June 23rd, it was recorded that SA Covid-19 cases summed up to 106,108, making it lead among other Africa countries.

Five countries reporting most cases are South Africa (106 108), Egypt (58 141), Nigeria (21 371), Ghana (14 568) and Algeria (12 076).
