Two Dogs attack five-year-old boy and mother in their home in Pretoria
A five-year-old boy was bitten by their family dogs in their home.
His mother got to the scene to try saving her son but the dogs reportedly pounced on the mother and was bitten severely by the dogs.
This incident happened on Sunday evening.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst, he said paramedics were called at 5.30pm to a residence in Elardus Park, Pretoria.
A family member said the two dogs had been fighting with each other before the five-year-old ran towards the house.
The two dogs decided to vent their anger on the child instead.
“The two dogs turned their attention to the young child and he suffered serious trauma after being bitten. The mother intervened and was bitten multiple times.”
Mother and child were treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
