It was reported earlier that Danie Brand, 83, his wife, Breggie, 73, and their daughter, Elzabie, 54, have been missing since Sunday.
Elzabie went to visit her parents over the weekend and since then, no one heard from them.
On Monday, some couple went to visit them and all they found at the couple’s smallholding was a deserted ransacked and blood stained apartment.
Their vehicles were also no where to be found.
On Tuesday, Marius Müller, national operations coordinator at AfriForum, said a body was found on Monday night but it was not certain yet if it was that of Elzabie or Breggie.
“What we need now is more support on the ground to find the other two bodies,” Müller said.
Four people have been arrested so far.
“Four people were taken into custody just after 23:00 on Monday – three men and a woman – although the woman is not a suspect. They were found in Elzabie’s stolen Mazda, which had been fitted with fake number plates.
The suspects got confused when they were asked to tell where the other two bodies were.
No information has been revealed by the suspects as to why they killed the couple and their daughter.
