The 40-year-old was arrested at her Pretoria home on Friday at about 6pm on Friday night.

It was confirmed by a police spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi that she was charged with alleged assault and malicious damage to property and she could face more charges.
“The complaint has been with us for some time we are still busy working on those allegations. There were matters that transpired this week which necessitated us to go straight to the Magistrates Court to ask for a warrant of arrest based on the severity of the case and the charges that were laid”.
Noma Gigaba is currently in the police custody in Pretoria and will appear in court on Monday which means she could spend the weekend in jail.
There had been numerous allegations of extra-marital affairs before this incident involving Gigaba but he denied them.
It was also reported recently that the couple had separated and were on the verge of getting divorced.
In 2018, a leaked sex video was circulated which involved the ex-cabinet minister which was allegedly sent to a woman suspected to be his mistress.
But Gigaba claimed that the video was meant for his their eyes only
My wife and I have learned, with regret and sadness, that a video containing material of a sexual nature, meant for our eyes only, which was stolen when my communication got illegally intercepted/my phone got hacked, in 2016/17, is circulating among certain political figures…
