Zweli Mkhize, Health Minister, says hospital admissions are on the decline.

He said no hospital has reached full capacity but warned that it is still too early to draw any conclusions from this data.

Mkhize also said that while the COVID-19 numbers are painting a positive picture, it is still important to take precautions.

He further said the wearing of masks, using of sanitisers, and social distancing will help to contain the virus.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization is deploying experts from across the globe to South Africa.

The Health Minister thanked the WHO for its support so far.
