The Bloemfontein Regional Court granted bail to three senior and two former Free State officials on Tuesday.
The case tabled before the officials were alleged corruption, fraud and money-laundering. This was after they had irregularities as regards R244 million worth of payments flagged, after investigating Estina Dairy Farm.
Each of the officials were granted a bail of R10,000.
The company allegedly linked to these suspects is called Rekgonne Community Projects.
Millions of rands were received from the Free State Agriculture Department to the company between the year 2012 and 2016.
The discovery surfaced when Hawks made an investigation on the controversial Estina Dairy case.
The five officials will come before the court by next month.
